FULL ITINERARY

Day 1 : you arrive in Marrakech, your driver will meet you in the airport (just inside the arrivals area). Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Breakfast. Today a guided historic visit of Marrakech will include the Menara; a magnificent pool surrounded by flowerbeds, the pool is also a unique and functional irrigation system to the surrounding areas that belongs to an ancient architecture adapted to the desert life. The tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda in Sevilla, Spain). Other sites also include (time permitting), the Bahia Palace, the apogee of Moorish splendor still host's dignitaries in the heart of the Mellah (Jewish quarter). Time at leisure for lunch (not included), then a walk through of the colorful souks of Marrakech in the afternoon. Conclude the day with a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square. Tonight you have a real treat of a Fantasia Dinner Show, a grand folklore show featuring tribesmen and women from different parts of the country. You will enjoy a Moroccan dinner with local salads, couscous, lamb and other specialties. Overnight at your hotel (B, Fantasia dinner and show). Guide: Marrakech

Day 3 : Breakfast. Departure to Ouarzazate (250 km/4 hrs) crossing the Atlas Mountains and its striking scenery through the Tizi N'Tichka Pass at an altitude of more than 2000 metres. See the ancient Kasbahs complex of Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive 11 century structure, declared by UNESCO to be an historical treasure, recent movies made at Ait Ben Haddou include "Gladiator" (2000), directed by Ridley Scott, and "Alexander" (2004), Oliver Stone. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate; start your day with a picturesque drive through the Skoura Kasbah area along the Route of 1000 Kasbahs. Roses for making perfume are the speciality of El Kelaa des Mgouna. Paris, the famous perfume by Yves Saint Laurent is made from the extract of these roses. You will find some nice shopping here for rose products such as rose water, body milk, dried petals etc Pass by palm grove oases and Kasbah dwellings; through Dades Valley; along the Gorges of Todra where you will marvel at the cliffs of these gorges high above where you stand, time at leisure for lunch then explore the Gorges on your own before driving back to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ouarzazate (B, D)

Day 5 : Breakfast then departure transfer to Ouarzazate airport for your flight back home
