Breakfast at Hotel, you are off this morning for 18 holes at the Royal Golf course, the oldest course in Marrakech constantly being renovated, the favorite course of the present King’s father King Hassan II.It's the second oldest golf course of the kingdom, it was inaugurated in 1927 with 4 holes played by the Pacha of Marrakech, Hadj Thami El Glaoui Mezouari. In 1928, Gustave Golias, golf champion and personal professor of the Pacha, completed the construction of the 9 first holes and is drawing the 9 following. Passionate about botanic, he also planted species who are now centenary and give to the Royal its garden gold reputation. In 1933, Gustave Golias and the famous Arnaud Massy, who is the first foreigner to win the British Open in 1907, are remodeling the course to give its grace and elegance back.The Royal Golf Marrakech, favorite of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, is the second oldest course of the Kingdom. Some holes are legendary and full of history. Its exceptional vegetation provides a unique setting.Designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy it opened to the first players in 1927. The Royal Golf Marrakech has 27 holes.David Lloyd George, a British statesman, made numerous appearances on the golf greens of Marrakech. Winston Churchill also played it several times before the Second World War, then later the American President, General Ike Eisenhower.Afterward return to your hotel. Today your historic visit of Marrakech will include (sites will be selected as time permitting). The tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda in Sevilla, Spain), the Saadian tombs demonstrating Moorish architecture in its perfection. The tombs, consisting of splendid mausoleums built in the sixteenth century, were walled for some time, not to be discovered until 1917. In the afternoon your guide will help you discover the unique and extensive souks and markets of the medina. Wandering the labyrinths of this old walled city. Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Assoufid Golf Club’s 18-hole, par-72 golf course winds its way through a unique, naturally undulating desert landscape.As his first golf course design project, Scottish designer and former European Tour player, Niall Cameron, had the vision to create a desert-style golf course that would look and feel as natural and as integrated into the existing landscape as possible, while maximizing the beautiful views of North Africa’s Atlas Mountains to the south.Tonight, your farewell dinner at Yacout restaurant (drinks included). Breakfast at Hotel. Marrakech/Fes (450km/8 hrs) we depart this morning for Fes a long but leisurely drive. You see the incredible landscape of this country. Enroute you will see villages and typical life in the towns of Beni Mellal and Khenifra. Explore Azrou, a beautiful Berber village built at an altitude of 1250 meters and the home of the Amazigh tribes, the first inhabitants of Morocco. A little further, the best preserved cedar forests of Morocco (endemic trees of Morocco), where one can see Barbary monkeys jumping branches of the trees. Explore the town of Ifran or the “Little Switzerland” as you cross the flowered paths and European-style architecture of this picturesque little town.You will see the city of Ifrane, where the American University is located that was built by the Sauds. a charming and unexpected town/ski resort famous for its Alpine climate and European-style houses. With its neat red roof houses and lake- studded parks it has more of a Western feel. Built by the French in the 1930’s, Ifrane was an attempt to re-create a European alpine-style resort. Look out for the Barbary Macaque, an endangered species and the only African monkey living north of the Sahara. Late afternoon arrival in Ifrane then transfer to your Hotel. Check in for 2 nights at your hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Located at an altitude of 1650 meters, this superb 18-hole championship golf course constantly changes character, traversing open areas and craggy outcrops, through forests and alongside clifftops. With steep elevation changes, ravines and outcrops to navigate, Michlifen forces you to set your strategy wisely.While all 18 holes live long in the memory, Jack Nicklaus saved the very best until last. One of the most spectacular finishing holes you may ever play, the fairway is bordered by a cliff along its left and tall, dense trees along the right. The second shot is semi-blind to a green that scatters in every direction. Breakfast at Hotel, meet with your driver then leave to Fes.Meet with your local guide then do for a full day touring including the most important sites in Fes highlighting the old and new medinas. Fez has been the religious capitol of Morocco. You will visit the 14th century religious schools (medersas) of Bou Inania and Attarine. You will wander the impressive labyrinths of the souks, which have been declared by Unesco to be one of the world’s cultural treasures. You will have a wonderful photo opportunity at the imposing gate of Bab Bajloud, the splendid fountains at Palais Nejjarine, the ancient ramparts and the beautiful front entrance of the royal palace. Tonight you will enjoy a multi-course Moroccan dinner in the old medina at a beautifully preserved palace (B, Special dinner) Overnight at you hotel (B, special dinner)
Breakfast Meknes/Volubilis/Rabat (200km/3 hrs) today you travel to Rabat via Meknes, where you will have a tour of this former Imperial City of Morocco. You will see the old ramparts; the Agdoul Basin which was used to water the royal gardens and amuse the favorite concubines; the Moulay Ismail royal stables, granaries, and House of Water (Dar el Ma) which were built in the 17th and 18th centuries to house, feed and water the sultan’s twelve thousand horses; Bab el Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco; the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, one of the very few holy sites in Morocco which may be visited by non-Moslems; and the intrigue of the Meknes landscape. Continuing on your route to Volubilis, the Roman capital of Northwestern Africa with its impressive and well-preserved Roman ruins, including approximately 30 mosaic floors dating back to 25BC. Afternoon arrival in Rabat, the capitol of the Kingdom of Morocco for check in your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D).
Breakfast this morning you are off for 18 holes at Royal Golf Dar Essalam; Traced by Robert Trent Jones on the initiative of the late King Hassan II, whose favorite sport was golf, the Royal Golf of Dar Es Salam is a perfect place for lovers of this sport in Morocco. Indeed, this prestigious domain extends over 440 hectares in the heart of a forest of cork oaks and on a flat ground, only fifteen kilometers from the capital. All the elements are present to satisfy you: technicality, quality, beauty of the environment. The golf course is divided into three courses:The grassy area covers 90 hectares, which is exceptional in a country with a hot climate, the forest brings a lot of freshness as well as the bodies of water.If your golf is completed early enough our guide will meet you for a brief guided tour of Rabat’s important sites, including: Kasbah of Oudaya, Hassan Tower and Chella built in the 12th century. A stop at the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the present kings father and a pass by the king’s palace and other government buildings.
