It's the second oldest golf course of the kingdom, it was inaugurated in 1927 with 4 holes played by the Pacha of Marrakech, Hadj Thami El Glaoui Mezouari. In 1928, Gustave Golias, golf champion and personal professor of the Pacha, completed the construction of the 9 first holes and is drawing the 9 following. Passionate about botanic, he also planted species who are now centenary and give to the Royal its garden gold reputation. In 1933, Gustave Golias and the famous Arnaud Massy, who is the first foreigner to win the British Open in 1907, are remodeling the course to give its grace and elegance back. The Royal Golf Marrakech, favorite of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, is the second oldest course of the Kingdom. Some holes are legendary and full of history. Its exceptional vegetation provides a unique setting. Designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy it opened to the first players in 1927. The Royal Golf Marrakech has 27 holes. David Lloyd George, a British statesman, made numerous appearances on the golf greens of Marrakech. Winston Churchill also played it several times before the Second World War, then later the American President, General Ike Eisenhower. Afterward return to your hotel. Time permitting; you will have a tour in the old medina of Marrakech.  Dinner tonight at Terrasses d’Epices rooftop restaurant.

It enjoys a breathtaking view over the Atlas Mountains and offers a privileged setting around a magnificent 27-hole landscaped golf course. Adorned with lakes and palm trees, this luxurious golf resort, is one of the most technical among the Moroccans golfs. The resort of Amelkis is located 10 minutes away from the center of the ocher city of Marrakech, facing the Atlas Mountains. Amelkis is an ideal holiday destination combining luxury and refinement. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, the Amelkis Golf Club offers an exceptional 27 hole golf course, covering 11 655 yards, reaching the length from 3609 to 3718 yards, making the course dotted with pitfalls for technical golf enthusiasts, It harbors unsuspected surprises along the journey across the wide fairways, but nature turns into a real challenge when wind, dunes, creeks and bushes complicate the game! Breakfast at Hotel, this morning you are off to the Assoufid Golf Club for 18 holes at Marrakech’s noted course. Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Assoufid Golf Club’s 18-hole, par-72 golf course winds its way through a unique, naturally undulating desert landscape. As his first golf course design project, Scottish designer and former European Tour player, Niall Cameron, had the vision to create a desert-style golf course that would look and feel as natural and as integrated into the existing landscape as possible, while maximizing the beautiful views of North Africa’s Atlas Mountains to the south. Tonight, your farewell dinner at Yacout restaurant (drinks included). Return to hotel for overnight (B, Special dinner).

You will see the city of Ifrane, where the American University is located that was built by the Sauds. a charming and unexpected town/ski resort famous for its Alpine climate and European-style houses. With its neat red roof houses and lake- studded parks it has more of a Western feel. Built by the French in the 1930’s, Ifrane was an attempt to re-create a European alpine-style resort. Look out for the Barbary Macaque, an endangered species and the only African monkey living north of the Sahara.  Late afternoon arrival in Ifrane then transfer to your Hotel.  Check in for 2 nights at your hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B, D)
Breakfast at Hotel, this morning you are off to the Michlifen Golf & Country Club boasts a majestic, preserved natural setting in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, a region known for the charm of its Alpine-style architecture.  Located at an altitude of 1650 meters, this superb 18-hole championship golf course constantly changes character, traversing open areas and craggy outcrops, through forests and alongside clifftops. With steep elevation changes, ravines and outcrops to navigate, Michlifen forces you to set your strategy wisely. While all 18 holes live long in the memory, Jack Nicklaus saved the very best until last. One of the most spectacular finishing holes you may ever play, the fairway is bordered by a cliff along its left and tall, dense trees along the right. The second shot is semi-blind to a green that scatters in every direction. It’s a beautiful yet dangerous finish – a worthy exclamation mark on a wonderful layout. “The site in Ifrane and for the Michlifen Golf & Country Club is one of the most scenic, beautiful vistas you will find for a golf experience.” Jack Nicklaus Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
